Getting ready for the Summer

26th February 2020

The last few months our workshop floor has seen a wide variety of vehicles come and go from our usual Toyota MR2s to ex-police Dodge Chargers.

As a part of the maintenance and preparation of the Drift Limits fleet we have the benefit of getting the deep dive on the new vehicles before anybody else. The Dodge needed some general maintenance and health check before heading circuit side, this will be used for a new Police Pursuit experience at Drift Limits. Head over to their website for more info.

An influx of Dinitrol treatments have been underway along with the usual powder coated control arms and SuperPro bush kits fitted. The treatment gives a great opportunity to do those jobs whilst all the suspension is removed. Here is a small sequence of the process including a full steam clean and scrub down before the Dinitrol and cavity wax is applied.

We also had the delight of a Radical SR5 in for suspension set up, alignment and dual controls. The SR5 features a Mugen K20 engine producing 255hp. It’s mated up to a Hewland FTR six speed gear box pneumatically operated with flat shift kit. The Radical has a steel frame enclosed by the LMP styled body. Below are some pictures of the SR5 along with it shortly after on circuit.
